Electronic Devices for Stress Detection in Academic Contexts during Confinement Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic

This article studies the development and implementation of different electronic devices for measuring signals during stress situations, specifically in academic contexts a student group Engineering Department at University Pamplona (Colombia). For research’s development, physiological were used through Galvanic Skin Response (GSR), electrical response heart by using an electrocardiogram (ECG), activity produced upper trapezius muscle (EMG), nose system (E-nose) as pilot study detection identification Volatile Organic Compounds profiles emitted skin. The data gathering was taken online test (during COVID-19 Pandemic), which aim to measure student’s state then relaxation after exam period. Two algorithms process, such Linear Discriminant Analysis Support Vector Machine Python software classification differentiation assessment, achieving 100% GSR, 90% with E-nose proposed, EMG system, 88% success ECG, respectively.
